Freshman in 2009:
Played in 18 games, making nine
starts…Each good enough for second on the team in freshman
appearances and starts…Registered 1061 minutes of
play.
Before Quinnipiac:
DiGiovine was a three-time
letterwinner at Seton Hall Prep School...During his time at Seton
Hall, DiGiovine was named an all-state, all-county, and
all-conference player, while serving as team captain during his
senior season...Also honored with the Peter Butler Award, given to
player who best represents the ideals of Seton Hall Prep, its
soccer program, sportsmanship, leadership, determination,
discipline and skill...In 2007, he helped lead his team to the
state, sectional, conference and county championships...A six-year
club soccer player with Matchfit Chelsea Academy, he also played
with USA Soccer in Sweden's Gothia Cup against other international
team, including the Israeli-Palestinian "Peace Team".
Personal:
A native
of Cranford, New Jersey...Son of Greg and Janice DiGiovine...Has
one younger sister, Emma...Plans to major in business
management.
