WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. Senior forward Graciano Brito (Sao Nicolau, Cape Verde) and junior goalkeeper Freddy Hall (St. George, Bermuda) were named to the Northeast Conference All-Tournament Team the conference today announced. The All-Tournament team was revealed following Fairleigh Dickinson's 7-2 victory over Mount St. Mary's in the NEC Championship Game.
Brito, named the NEC Player of the Year, led the Bobcats with six shots in Friday's 2-0 loss to Fairleigh Dickinson in the conference semifinals. He finished the regular season as the NEC's top scorer with 18 goals and 39 points, both Quinnipiac Division I single-season records. In his four seasons with the Bobcats, Brito amassed 40 goals and 92 points. Those career figures were also Quinnipiac Division I records.
Hall was named to the All-Tournament team after making seven saves in the season-ending loss to the Knights. Entering the game, Hall had gone 355:32 without allowing a goal. He finished the season with seven shutouts, a .798 save percentage and a 1.05 goals-against average. Hall was named to the All-NEC Second team for his efforts in leading the Bobcats to their first NEC Tournament since 2004.
