This Weekend
Quinnipiac travels to western Pennsylvania to play its last regular season road games at Robert Morris and St. Francis (Pa.). Quinnipiac is coming off a 3-1 victory against the defending Northeast Conference Champion Central Connecticut State Blue Devils Sunday in Hamden. Graciano Brito (Sao Nicolau, Cape Verde) scored his conference-leading 13th and 14th goals in the win. Dominic Adams (John Dial, Trinidad and Tobago) added two assists and Durval Pereira (Cheshire, Conn.) had a goal and an assist.

Scouting the Colonials

Robert Morris currently sits in last place in the NEC with a 0-5-1 conference mark. The Colonials are led offensively by Tyler Stanley's eight points and Sean Riley's three goals in 2008. Stanley also leads Robert Morris with four assists this season. Matt Felice has played every minute this season for the Colonials, posting a 2.04 goals-against average and a .728 save percentage. The Colonials' lone point in NEC play this season came in a 2-2 tie at Monmouth on Oct. 12.

Scouting the Red Flash

St. Francis (Pa.) comes into the weekend in eighth place in the NEC with a 1-4-1 mark. The team's lone win in conference came as the Red Flash beat the top team in the NEC, St. Francis (N.Y.), 1-0, on Oct. 19. The Red Flash is led by Patrick Fleming and Owen Gombami, who each have three goals and six points this season. Brian Murphy's three assists lead St. Francis (Pa.), while four players are tied for second on the team with two. Darius Motazed and Brad Williams have split time in goal this season with each posting two wins. Motazed's 0.94 goals-against average and .818 save percentage are both good for the team lead.

Top of the Nation

Brito became the Bobcats' career Division I scoring leader earlier this season and the senior midfielder is gaining national exposure with his play this season. He is currently tied for the nation's lead in goals per game (1.0) and third in the country in points per game (2.14). Brito also continues to lead the NEC in points (30), goals (14), points per game, goals per game, shots (86), and shots per game (6.14).

Two For the Price of One

Adams' two assists against the Blue Devils were the first of his Quinnipiac career. The sophomore intercepted a clearing attempt and made a quick pass to Brito who set up Pereira for the game's opening goal. His second was the result of a crossing pass that Brito slammed home for his second of the game.

Second Best

Pereira continues to team up with Brito for scoring chances. His last two goals have been assisted by Brito as Pereira has moved into second place on the team's scoring list with 12 points. He also collected his second assist of the season on Brito's first goal against CCSU on Sunday.

Game High

Brito set the Quinnipiac season high in points against the Blue Devils with five. His two goals also tied the team-high. Adams' two-assist performance marked the second time this season that a Bobcat had multiple assists in a single game. Adams joined Pierre Soubrier (Aurignac, France) as the only other Quinnipiac player to accomplish the feat.
