Men's Soccer Inks Dominic Adams For 2008 Campaign
HAMDEN, Conn. Quinnipiac University men's soccer head coach Eric Da Costa has announced that Dominic Adams (Scarborough, Trinidad and Tobago) will join the Bobcats for the upcoming 2008 season as a transfer. Adams comes to Quinnipiac after having spent last season playing at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma where he started 14 of 15 games. Adams scored three goals, while assisting on five others in his only season at USAO.
A three-time Player of the Year in the Scarborough League, Adams was a member of the Trinidad and Tobago U-17 National Team before attending college. As a youth he spent time attending prestigious academies in England such as Wolverhampton Wanderers, Birmingham City and Watford. This summer he is working with the Colorado Rapids of the MLS and their Player Development League.
"Dominic is a great late addition to our squad," Da Costa said. "He is a calm and composed player with fabulous technical ability. His playing experience and a skill set suits our style of play and I expect him to seriously challenge our current players."
