Men’s Lacrosse Ranked Eighth in Latest NEILA Poll

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac University men's lacrosse team was ranked eighth in the latest New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Coaches' Poll, which was announced on Tuesday, March 26, 2013.

Despite losing their second straight Ivy League game to Princeton, the Yale Bulldogs remained atop the NEILA poll for the third straight week. Brown, now winners in five straight games after losing to the Bobcats in the first week, moved up to the second slot, followed by UMass, Harvard and Fairfield to round out the top five. Providence, Holy Cross and Quinnipiac conclude the field of eight teams.

Quinnipiac is back in action with its first Northeast Conference game of the season. The Bobcats travel to Smithfield, R.I. for a clash with the Bulldogs of Bryant University. Faceoff is set for 3 p.m. at Bulldog Stadium on the University's campus.
