Conn. - Quinnipiac University freshman men's lacrosse midfielder
Dylan Webster (Brampton, Ontario) and senior goalie Kevin Benzing
(Severna Park, Md.) have been honored with weekly Northeast
Conference honors, the league office today announced. Webster has
been selected as the NEC Rookie of the Week for the third straight
week, while Benzing takes his second NEC Defensive Player of the
Week honor in the last three weeks.

With a goal and an assist in the Bobcats' 10-9 overtime loss to Hartford on Saturday, Webster now has compiled six goals and two assists in the last three games, two resulting in Quinnipiac wins. He now ranks second on the team in goals scored (6) and third in points (8).
Benzing made 12 saves on 22 shots on goal against Hartford on Saturday. He also picked up five ground balls and caused a turnover. His .624 save percentage now ranks seventh in the nation, while his 7.52 goals-against average is 11th.
The Bobcats return to action Saturday, when they travel to Baltimore, Md., to take on the University of Maryland-Baltimore County. Opening face-off from UMBC Stadium is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
