Quinnipiac men's ice hockey stand-out Sam Anas (Potomac, Md.) was named as one of the top 10 undrafted players at an NHL Developmental Camp by Ryan Kennedy of The Hockey News.

Anas was joined by Boston College's Scott Savage as the only two NCAA Division I student-athletes on the list. The 2014 National Rookie of the Year, Anas is currently one of 50 players attending the Montreal Canadiens Developmental Camp, held from July 7-11. Anas is one of nine college hockey players at the Canadiens' camp, including 2014-15 Bobcats Co-Captain Dan Federico (Acton, Mass.).

Anas completed one of the historically great first seasons in a Quinnipiac sweater in program history, earning the Hockey Commissioner's Association Tim Taylor National Rookie of the Year Award, while also being named the CollegeHockeyNews.com and USCHO.com National Rookie of the Year. Anas also won the ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Year honor.
