Quinnipiac Men's Ice Hockey Freshman Sam Anas Featured On CollegeHockeyNews.com

Quinnipiac freshman stand-out Sam Anas (Potomac, Md.) was featured on CollegeHockeyNews.com on Thursday, Dec. 12.

The article, by CHN columnist Joshua Seguin, highlights the nation's top-scoring freshman and his emergence as an offensive force on a Bobcats' team with several talented goal scorers. Anas was recently named the National College Hockey Player of the Month for November as well as the ECAC Hockey November Rookie of the Month. Anas leads Quinnipiac with 13 goals and 25 points, which doubles as the most among all freshman NCAA Division I men's ice hockey players.

Quinnipiac will next return to action on Dec. 29 at the UConn Holiday Tournament from the XL Center in Hartford, Conn. The Bobcats will play UMass Amherst in the First Round game set to meet either Sacred Heart or the host Huskies on Dec. 30.
