Quinnipiac Men's Ice Hockey Ranked 10th In USCHO.com Division I Poll; Bobcats Receive One First-Place Vote

The Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team received one first-place vote on its way to being ranked No. 10 in the first USCHO.com Division I Poll, released on Sept. 30, 2013. 

Quinnipiac was ranked 11th in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Preseason Poll, released on Sept. 23. In addition, the Bobcats were ranked third in the ECAC Hockey Coaches and Media Preseason Polls. The Bobcats finished the 2012-13 season with a 30-8-5 record - good the most wins, best winning percentage and fewest losses in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey - on its way to playing for the National Championship. The Bobcats' 30 wins last season were a program record while they also won their first ECAC Hockey Cleary Cup for the Regular-Season Championship.

Quinnipiac opens the season on Sunday, Oct. 6 when it hosts St. Mary's at 2 p.m. at High Point Solutions Arena at the TD Bank Sports Center. The game is free to the public.
