New York State Of Mind
The Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team continues ECAC Hockey play at No. 17 Colgate on Friday, Nov. 18 and at No. 18 Cornell on Saturday, Nov. 19. Both games are set for a 7 p.m. start.

The Last Time The Bobcats Were On The Ice
Quinnipiac dropped an overtime heartbreaker to St. Lawrence on Friday, Nov. 12 as Kyle Flanagan potted the game-winner in overtime to break a 0-0 tie. The Bobcats tied Clarkson on Friday, Nov. 11, 1-1.

All-Time Against Colgate
Quinnipiac is 9-8-2 all-time against Colgate since the Bobcats joined the ECAC Hockey league for the 2005-06 season. Quinnipiac won just three times in its first 12 games against Colgate, but has won six of the last seven games against the Raiders, including their last two games on Colgate's home ice.

Scouting The Raiders
Colgate is currently 6-4-1 overall and 2-2-0 in ECAC Hockey play and are ranked 17th in the USCHO.com Division I poll. The Raiders have split their last two ECAC Hockey weekends, dropping Brown, 5-3, before losing to Yale, 2-0; and defeating Dartmouth, 4-0, before losing to Harvard, 2-4, last weekend. Austin Smith leads Colgate with 10 goals and 15 points for the season while sophomore Chris Wagner checks in with three goals and eight assists for 11 points. In goal, Eric Mihalik is 5-3-0 with a 3.00 goals-against average and a .896 save percentage.

All-Time Against Cornell
Quinnipiac is 5-11-2 all-time against Cornell, with four of its five wins in the series coming at Lynah Rink. Three of those four wins came in the ECAC Hockey Tournament, including a 1-0 victory in Game 2 of last season's quarterfinals. While the series started at 3-3-1 through their first seven games, Quinnipiac has won just twice in their last 11 games against the Big Red.

Scouting The Big Red
Cornell is currently 3-2-0 overall and 3-1-0 in ECAC Hockey play and are ranked 18th in the USCHO.com poll. The Big Red have won three of their last four games - all against ECAC Hockey schools - including a pair of wins last weekend against Harvard (4-2) and Dartmouth (3-2). Nick D'Agostino leads Cornell with four goals and four assists for eight points while Brian Ferlin and Greg Miller have each tallied a team-best five assists. Andy Iles has logged every minute of the young season for Cornell in goal, posting a 3-2-0 record with a .870 save percentage and a 3.23 goals-against average.

Fab Five
Jeremy Langlois, with 10 goals in 13 games, is one of five players in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey to have tallied double-digit goals to date. Notre Dame's Anders Lee (12), Nebraska-Omaha's Terry Broadhurst and Minnesota Duluth's Travis Oleksuk (11) and Colgate's Austin Smith (10) are the only players in the country to reach the century mark.

Langlois and Broadhurst are currently tied for the national lead with six power-play goals.

Point Scoring Stats
To date, 37 of the nation's 58 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey teams have played 10 or more games, including Quinnipiac (13). Of those 37 teams, Quinnipiac joins Michigan and Boston College as the only three teams to boast five players with double-digit point totals.

Putting The Biscuit In The Basket
Quinnipiac is one of nine teams in the country to reach 40 goals to date. The Bobcats' 47 goals through its first 13 games rank third to Minnesota (53) and Michigan (50) while their 3.62 per-game average ranks 11th overall.

Stingy Defense
Quinnipiac currently ranks 8th nationally in scoring defense, posting a combined 2.08 goals-against average. Goalies Eric Hartzell and Dan Clarke ranked 13th and 14th, respectively, with identical 2.06 individual GAA's. Has has allowed one more goal (14) than Clarke (13) while playing 30 minutes more in net (407-to-377).

Great Start
Matthew Peca has totaled 12 points the first 13 games of his career, registering a point in 11 of them. Peca currently ranks first among all ECAC Hockey freshman, and seventh nationally.
