Played for three different teams over the last three years…Suited up for the Springfield Jr. Blues of the Eastern Junior Hockey League in 2008-09, scoring five goals and assisting on 17 more for 22 points in 52 games played…In 2009-10, he played 40 games for the New Jersey Hitmen of the Eastern Junior Hockey League, scoring six goals and assisting on 22 more for 28 points…In 2010-11, Callahan started the season with the Springfield Jr. Blues, totaling six goals and 30 assists in 40 games before playing the final 15 games of the season with the Fairbanks (Alaska) Ice Dogs of the North American Hockey League (NAHL)…Helped the Ice Dogs to the 2011 NAHL Roberson Cup National Championship, earning All-NAHL First Team and All-West Division First Team honors.
