Lawrence, 4-0, in the semifinals before falling to Clarkson in the
Championship Game, 4-2. Quinnipiac led in that game, 2-0.
One
of 12
Since Quinnipiac joined ECAC Hockey in 2005-06, they are the only
team out of the 12 that comprise the league to win an ECAC Hockey
Tournament series each year.
Quinnipiac has won four of 16 games all-time against Cornell, with two of those three wins coming in the 2007 ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals to send the Bobcats to the tournament quarterfinals that year. In their last five meetings, Quinnipiac is 1-4-0. Quinnipiac is 3-5-1 all-time at Lynah Rink.
Scouting Cornell
The Big Red clinched the fourth spot in the ECAC Hockey Tournament
after posting an 11-9-2 mark in the regular season. After posting
an impressive 7-1-2 record in 10 games from Jan. 7 through Feb. 5,
Cornell has won twice in their last six games, including their last
two regular season games against Brown and Yale. Sophomore Greg
Miller leads the team in assists (21) and points (25) while senior
Joe Devin has tallied a team-best 13 goals while also assisting on
10 more for 23 points on the year. Tyler Roeszler is Cornell's only
other 20-point scorer with 12 goals and nine assists on the year.

.918 save percentage. Against the Bobcats, Garmen stopped 23 of
Quinnipiac's 24 shots in a 4-1 win on Nov. 8 at Lynah Rink while
Iles stopped 32 of 34 in an 3-2 overtime win at the TD Bank Sports
Center.
The
Big Six
Six different Bobcats accounted for Quinnipiac's eight goals last
weekend, while Zach Hansen and Jeremy Langlois both scored twice in
the series. None of the six players had previously scored in the
postseason before.
Baker's Dozen
While six different players scored Quinnipiac's eight goals last
weekend, 13 different players found their way onto the box score -
the most in a weekend series this season.
Blanked, Back-To-Back
Quinnipiac's back-to-back shutouts against Brown mark the second
time in ECAC Hockey Tournament history that a team held its
opponent scoreless in a postseason series, matching Browns' 2-0 and
1-0 wins against Harvard in 2009.
More Shutout Stuff...
With two shutouts already, Quinnipiac already matches the 2007
postseason as the Bobcats kept Cornell and St. Lawrence off the
board in the quarters and semis, respectively. While Bud Fisher '09
posted both shutouts that season, this was the first time that two
different goalies (Dan Clarke on Friday and Eric Hartzell on
Saturday) completed the feat.

Quinnipiac has got on the board first in 20 of its 36 games this
season, posting a 14-2-4 record when they score the game's first
goal.
LB
From The Blue Line
Loren Barron pushed his team-leading assist total to 17. Barron is
the first Quinnipiac defenseman since former All-American Reid
Cashman to lead the team in assists.
