Enemies From The North
The Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team will host St. Lawrence and
Clarkson this weekend. The Saints come to town on Friday, Dec. 3
while the Golden Knights visit the TD Bank Sports Center on
Saturday, Dec. 4. Both games are set for a 7 p.m. puck drop.

Both Bobcats' games this weekend will be available via live video

heard on AM 1220 WQUN as well as AM 1410 WPOP, while Saturday's

All-Time Against St. Lawrence
Quinnipiac and St. Lawrence have faced each other 14 times since
their first meeting on Nov. 3, 2000. St. Lawrence holds the
all-time edge, with seven wins to Quinnipiac's five, with two games
coming to a draw, but Quinnipiac has won the last three meetings
between the two teams. Quinnipiac is 2-2-1 all-time on their home
ice against St. Lawrence, with one of those wins coming at the
Northford Ice Pavilion.
Scouting The Saints
St. Lawrence is currently 2-7-3 overall and 2-3-0 in ECAC Hockey
play, with all three league losses coming in their last three
games. The Saints have played four of their five ECAC Hockey games
at home, with their only road game resulting in a 2-1 loss at
Clarkson. Sean Flanagan has been the Saints' top playmaker this
year, leading the team with eight assists and 10 points. Kyle
Flanagan checks in with three goals and six assists for nine
points, while freshman Greg Carey leads St. Lawrence with five
goals for the year. Matt Weninger has seen the majority of the time
between the pipes for St. Lawrence, posting a 2-7-2 record with a
.912 save percentage and a 2.44 goals-against average.
All-Time Against Clarkson
Quinnipiac has won six of the 13 meetings against Clarkson,
including wins in four of the last six games. Quinnipiac lost to
Clarkson in their last meeting, 4-1 in Potsdam, but won the three
previous meetings, including back-to-back wins on its home ice. The
Bobcats are 4-2-0 all-time against the Golden Knights, including a
4-1-0 mark at the TD Bank Sports Center.
Scouting The Golden Knights
Clarkson is currently 7-5-2 overall and 2-2-1 in ECAC Hockey with
wins in three of its last four games played. Brandon DeFazio leads
Clarkson with seven assists and 10 points while Matt Zarbo leads
the Golden Knights with five goals, while also adding four assists
for nine points. Jake Morley checks in just behind with four goals
and four assists. In goal, Paul Karpowich has seen the majority of
the minutes for the Golden Knights, logging a 7-4-2 record with a
.924 save percentage and a 2.55 GAA.
Among The Division I Leaders
Eric Hartzell is one of 11 NCAA Division I goalies to post a
sub-2.00 goals-against average, and one of five from ECAC Hockey.
The sophomore goalies 1.98 GAA ranks 11th among all NCAA Division I
goalies.

Hartzell also ranks fifth in the nation in save percentage, and
fifth among all ECAC Hockey goalies, at .933.
Team
Leader
Captain Scott Zurevinski scored his team-leading fifth goal of the
season against UMass on Saturday, Nov. 27. Zurevinski has scored
four times in his last five games.
The
Con Man
Connor Jones currently leads the Bobcats with 10 points - coming on
four goals and a team-high six assists. He's tied for the team lead
in helpers with Bouharevich, who has also scored twice for eight
points. Jones scored in the Bobcats' loss to UMass on Saturday,
Nov. 27.

Stat
Quinnipiac's record when either captain Scott Zurevinski or Yuri
Bouharevich score or assist on a goal is 6-1-1. Last Saturday's
loss to UMass marked the first time this season that the Bobcats
lost when Zurevinski scored.
Three In A Row
Zurevinski and Bouharevich are the only two players with three-game
scoring streaks on the year. Bouharvich did it on 10/15, 10/23 and
10/29 while Zurevinski did it on 11/13, 11/19 and 11/20.
Really Impressive
Quinnipiac is 50-0-5 in its last 55 games in which it has led
heading into the third period. It's last loss when leading after
two periods came on March 17, 2007 against Clarkson in the ECAC
Hockey Championship.

Quinnipiac is 43-25-7 (.621) in 75 games all-time at the TD Bank
Sports Center.
Give
Me An A...
Ben Arnt became the fourth Quinnipiac skater to score twice in a
game when he netted a pair against Harvard on Nov. 20. Arnt scored
the Bobcats' second goal of the game before breaking up a 4-4 tie
with the game-winner in the third period. Arnt now has three goals
on the year.

Back-To-Back Club
Zurevinski, Connor Jones and John Dunbar are the only three players
to score in back-to-back games this season.

Freshman John Dunbar was the latest Bobcat to get his first career
goal with the Bobcats first goal against Dartmouth on Friday
night.The first year forward from Calgary, Alberta also added a
goal against Harvard on Saturday. Dunbar, in 12 games, has tallied
two goal and two assists.

Quinnipiac's 5-4 win against Harvard marked the first time this
season that Quinnipiac scored five goals in a game and featured 10
different players picking up a point.
