UConn Classic
The Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team hits the ice for the first time since Dec. 5 when they travel in-state to take part in the UConn Classic hosted by the University of Connecticut at Freitas Ice Forum in Storrs, Conn. Quinnipiac will square off against Merrimack College in the first game of the tournament on Monday, Dec. 29 at 4 p.m. Following the game between the Bobcats and the Warriors, host UConn will play Air Force at 7:15 p.m. The losers of both games will play in the Consolation Game on Tuesday, Dec. 30 at 4 p.m. while the winners play for the UConn Classic Championship at 7:15 p.m. The Bobcats enter the game at 7-6-1 overall and have won five of their last seven games.

All-Time Against Merrimack
Quinnipiac and Merrimack have played each other twice all-time with both games coming during the 2003-04 season. Merrimack won the first game of the weekend series, 4-1 on Nov. 28 in North Andover, Mass., before Quinnipiac bounced back with a 3-2 decision on the following night to salvage the split.

All-Time Against Connecticut
Quinnipiac is 11-9-2 all-time against UConn, with the Bobcats winning the last three meetings between the two teams, including a 4-1 decision on Nov. 1 at the TD Banknorth Sports Center. The Bobcats hold a 6-5-1 mark at home against the Huskies and a 5-4-1 mark on UConn's home ice.

All-Time Against Air Force
Quinnipiac is 3-6-0 all-time against Air Force. The Falcons have won the last three meetings between the two teams, including a weekend sweep last season. The Bobcats are 2-0 all-time at home against the Falcons, with their last win coming on Oct. 11, 2003 when Quinnipiac won 4-3 in overtime at the Northford Ice Pavillion.

Last Time Out
Quinnipiac has been idle since Dec. 5, when they defeated Providence College, 5-2, at the TD Banknorth Sports Center. In that game, five different Bobcats scored as Brandon Wong, Jean-Marc Beaudoin, David Marshall, Bryan Leitch and Eric Lampe all scored. Marshall and Andy Meyer both totaled two assists in the win, while Leitch also chipped in with a helper.

Spreading The Wealth
Quinnipiac's 5-2 win over Providence marked the first time this season that Quinnipiac had five different score when Brandon Wong, Jean-Marc Beaudoin, Eric Lampe, Bryan Leitch and David Marshall all tallied a goal. The last time Quinnipiac had five different goal scorers in a game was on March 15, 2008 in the Bobcats' 7-4 win over Harvard in the ECAC Hockey Tournament Quarterfinals.

Assistant captain Andrew Meyer passed out a career-best two assists in Quinnipiac's win over Providence.

They're Streaking
Bryan Leitch and David Marshall have each registered a point in seven straight games, the longest scoring streak in the Bobcats' lineup.

Only A Matter Of Time
Brandon Wong snapped a seven-game goalless streak with a tally against Princeton.

They Call Me The Bry-Man
Bryan Leitch, with 17 helpers in 14 games, leads NCAA Division I hockey with 1.21 assists per game.

Top 20 Hits
Leitch is also tied for second place in Division I hockey with 1.50 points per game. Leitch has totaled four goals and 17 assists for 21 points in 14 games. Leitch's 21 points are tops in ECAC Hockey.

Climbing The Charts
With 46 career goals, Wong is tied for 12th in QU's Division I history and 20th all-time at QU.

Getting Closer...
David Marshall scored once and assisted on two more goals to push his career totals to 58 goals (QU active leader) and 38 assists for 96 points - leaving him just four points away from becoming the 28th member of Quinnipiac's 100-point club all-time and the 15th player to reach the century mark at the Division I level.

Wong's Pretty Close Too
Brandon Wong currently has 46 goals and 46 assists for for 92 career points, leaving him just eight points from the 100-point mark.

Use It To Your Advantage
Nationally on the penalty kill, the Bobcats rank 11th at 90.7% after killing 78 of 86 opponent power-plays. The Bobcats are also ranked 12th in combined special teams at 53.5% (92-172).

David Marshall is currently tied with Air Force's Jacques Lamoureux for the top spot in Div. I hockey with four game-winning goals.

Zach Hansen currently ranks third in defenseman scoring in ECAC Hockey and 28th nationally with four goals and five assists for nine points.
