Men's Ice Hockey Head Coach Rand Pecknold and Captain Dan Henningson To Be Featured On WVIT 30 Sports With Kevin Nathan

Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey head coach Rand Pecknold and senior captain Dan Henningson will be the subjects of a feature on the men's ice hockey team tonight at 6 p.m. on NBC affiliate, WVIT 30. WVIT 30 sports anchor Kevin Nathan discussed the Bobcats and ECAC Hockey with Pecknold and the senior blue-liner.

Quinnipiac is currently 7-6-1 overall and 4-3-1 in ECAC Hockey, good for nine points and fifth place in the league standings. Quinnipiac is coming off a 5-2 win over Hockey East opponent Providence College on Friday, Dec. 5. The Bobcats are idle until Dec. 29 when they travel to Storrs, Conn. to face Merrimack College in the UConn Inviational hosted by the University of Connecticut.

Henningson, Quinnipiac's most valuable player last season, ranks among the league and national leaders in defensemen scoring with three goals and three assists for six points.
