BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – The Connecticut 6 Classic institutions are set to host the 2013 Tip-Off Breakfast on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the Holiday Inn Bridgeport-Trumbull-Fairfield, located on 1070 Main Street in Bridgeport. Men's Basketball Head Coach Tom Moore will speak about the Bobcats upcoming 2013-14 campaign and their CT 6 match-up with Hartford.
The event will begin with a continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m., giving fans and attendees an opportunity to speak with the coaches and student-athletes from the participating schools. After breakfast, the six coaches will join Finz on the dais for a brief outlook on the upcoming season and a brief question and answer session.
In addition to Moore, the coaches attending the event are Howie Dickenman, head coach of Central Connecticut; Sydney Johnson, head coach of Fairfield; John Gallagher, head coach of Hartford; Anthony Latina, head coach of Sacred Heart; and James Jones, head coach of Yale University.
Reservations can be made through any of the six schools.
The fifth annual Connecticut 6 Classic from Webster Bank Arena tips off on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013. Joining the Bobcats will be Hartford, Yale, Central Connecticut, Sacred Heart, and fellow MAAC foe Fairfield. For the second year in a row, Quinnipiac and Hartford will open the three-game showcase at 3 p.m. Yale and CCSU will tip-off at 5:30 p.m. followed by Sacred Heart and Fairfield in the nightcap at 8 p.m.
Tickets for the Connecticut 6 Classic can be purchased through Ticketmaster.com or at the Arena box office. Fans may also contact any of the six participating schools for tickets as well.
