Tom Moore to Participate in First Annual Nutmeg Basketball Coaches Clinic

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac University men's basketball head coach Tom Moore has announced that he will be a special guest in the first annual Nutmeg Basketball Coaches Clinic, hosted by the Connecticut Sports Management Group and the Nutmeg State Games. The two-day event will be held on Friday, Sept. 20th and Saturday, Sept. 21st at the Ramada Plaza in Hartford, Conn.

"I am very excited about the chance to speak at the Nutmeg Basketball Coaches Clinic," said Moore. "Bill Mudano and his staff at the Connecticut Sports Management Group have worked hard in putting this weekend together. It will be a great opportunity to exchange ideas with coaches from all levels in preparation for the 2013-14 season."

The clinic will feature Moore, who owns the fifth highest winning percentage among New England Division I men's basketball coaches, along with several other experts from around the region. Some additional names included are Howie Dickenman, Head Coach Men's Basketball at Central CT State University, James Jones, Head Coach Men's Basketball at Yale University, Jen Rizzotti, Head Coach Women's Basketball at University of Hartford, Beryl Piper, Head Coach Women's Basketball at Central CT State University, Ken Smith, Head Coach Men's Basketball at Windsor High School, and Jim Cosgrove, Head Coach Men's Basketball at Trinity College.

In addition to drills that will improve player fundamentals, these coaches will present ideas to help your team play to its potential while enjoying the experience of playing the great game of basketball.
