Men's Basketball Visits Achievement First Bridgeport Academy
The Quinnipiac men's basketball team visit the Achievement First Bridgeport Academy in Bridgeport, Conn. Head Coach Tom Moore and the Bobcats addressed the students in a morning assembly before visiting several classrooms.
"We really enjoyed speaking with the children at Achievement First Bridgeport Academy today," said Moore. "Morgan Barth, Judy Andrews, and the entire faculty there do an incredible job with their young students. It was a great opportunity for our players to understand the positive impact they can have on young people in their role as college athletes."
The Bobcats moved from classroom to classroom and participated in a Q&A session with the 5th and 6th graders as part of the school's mentorship program. Achievement First is a non-profit charter management organization (CMO) that operates a growing network of high-performing, college-preparatory, K to 12 public charter schools in Connecticut and New York.
