HAMDEN,
Conn. - The Quinnipiac University men's basketball team helped

Olympics Connecticut 2010 Holiday Sports Classic, held at the
Quinnipiac Recreation Center. The team presented medals to the
winning teams and also cheered on the competitors during
games.
Men's Basketball Lends A Hand To Special Olympics
"This was a great opportunity for us to help out a terrific organization like the Special Olympics," said Quinnipiac Men's Basketball Head Coach Tom Moore. "Our players really enjoyed giving their time and helping out such a worthwhile cause. Jimmy Reynolds is a coaching friend of mine and does a wonderful job organizing it. He reached out to me about our guys helping out and we were delighted to do so. It is important for our young men to understand the positive impact they can have on people when they reach out to cheer someone on in the Special Olympics."
