He followed with a career-high 23 point effort as the Bobcats posted an 80-72 victory over Long Island two days later. He nailed three three-pointers and added three assists in the victory over the Blackbirds.
The Queens, NY product has started the first 56 games of his Quinnipiac career, the second longest streak in the program's Division I history. One of three Quinnipiac players averaging in double digits (11.6 ppg), Johnson leads the team and ranks ninth on the circuit with 3.2 apg. He also ranks third in the NEC in free throw percentage, converting at an 82.8 percent clip.
