January 18, 2010 HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac University men's basketball team appears in ESPN.com and Joe Lunardi's "Bracketology" this week as the Northeast Conference's representative in the NCAA Tournament. Lunardi lists the Bobcats as a No. 16 seed, playing against No. 1 seed Syracuse in the West Region.

The Bobcats, currently ranked as the top team in the Northeast Conference in both the www.kenpom.com RPI (No. 158) and Jeff Sagarin NCAA Basketball Rankings (No. 179), sit atop the NEC in a tie with Long Island and Robert Morris at 5-1 in the league. The Bobcats have won five straight games, including four straight NEC contests.
