      <description>Quinnipiac University Men's Basketball Head Coach Tom Moore has announced the signings of Lance Brown (Teaneck, N.J.) and William Harrison (Bronx, N.Y.) to National Letters of Intent. Brown will have to sit out the 2010-11 season as a transfer from Fordham University while having three years of eligibility remaining. Harrison will be immediately eligible for the next two years after spending two seasons at Western Texas College. Brown and Harrison join Ike Azotam (Boston, Mass.) and Dominique Langston (Bridgeport, Conn.), who committed to the Bobcats in the early signing period, to comprise this year's recruiting class.</description>

      <description>The Quinnipiac University men's basketball team faces Monmouth for the second time in eight days when they welcome the Hawks to the TD Bank Sports Center Thursday for the quarterfinals of the NEC Tournament. The Bobcats won the last meeting with the Hawks in convincing fashion, 82-63. The win gave the Bobcats a split in the season series, as the Hawks took a 72-60 victory, Jan. 2 in West Long Branch, N.J. The Hawks own a 13-10 edge in the all-time series, and the two teams have never met in the NEC Tournament.</description>

      <description>Quinnipiac University junior men's basketball forward Justin Rutty (Newburgh, N.Y.) was named the 2009-10 Northeast Conference Player of the Year and Head Coach Tom Moore was picked as the Jim Phelan NEC Coach of the Year, the league office announced this morning on the annual pre-tournament media teleconference. Rutty and senior wing James Feldeine (New York, N.Y.) were also selected to the All-NEC First Team. This is Rutty's second first-team selection, while Feldeine joins him among the league's top five players after earning second-team recognition last season.</description>
