      <title>Men's Basketball Welcomes Bishop Woods Elementary School Students</title>

      <description>The Quinnipiac University men's basketball team welcomed fifth and sixth grade students from Bishop Woods Elementary School in New Haven for a 'college day' at the university on Thursday. Quinnipiac coaches and student-athletes showed the kids the school and athletic facilities in the same way that they'd present the school to a prospective basketball recruit on a visit. The coaches also put on a mini basketball clinic for the kids.</description>

Pleasant, S.C.) will join Jamee Jackson (Irvington, N.J.) and Dave Johnson (Howell, N.J.), who signed with the Bobcats in the fall, in Moore's second full recruiting class.</description>

The Bobcats finished 15-16 (10-8 NEC) and Moore picked up his 100th career victory.</description>

The Bobcats swept the season series from the Blackbirds, winning 69-63, Jan. 31, in Hamden, before taking a 78-73 win, Feb. 21 in Brooklyn. The win snapped the Blackbirds' 11-game home winning streak and the Bobcats became the only NEC team to win at the Wellness Center this season. The Bobcats own a 12-10 advantage in the all-time series, including wins in each of the last seven meetings. Included in the stretch are three wins at the Wellness Center, though by an average margin of victory of only 3.3 points.</description>
