Acrobatics & Tumbling Falls To Azusa Pacific In NCATA Quarterfinals, 275.370 - 273.205
The No. 4-seeded Quinnipiac acrobatics & tumbling team’s comeback fell short on Thursday afternoon on the campus of Baylor University in Waco, Texas, as the No. 5-seeded Cougars of Azusa Pacific defeated the Bobcats, 275.37 – 273.205.

Erin Trotman And Christina Lasto Earn All-American Honors At NCATA End Of Year Banquet
Graduate student Erin Trotman (Bristol, Conn.) and junior Christina Lasto (Oxford, Conn.) were each named to the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) All-American Team, as announced at the end of year banquet on Wednesday, April 25.

Azusa Pacific Edges Acrobatics & Tumbling On Senior Night, 287.375 - 287.215
The Quinnipiac acrobatics & tumbling team surged into the lead late into the second half against Azusa Pacific on Monday evening on Senior Night at the TD Bank Sports Center, but a Cougar’s narrow victory in the final team routine spoiled the comeback, as they took the meet, 287.375 – 287.215. With the loss, Quinnipiac falls to 0-10 on the season, while Azusa Pacific improves to 3-3 on the year.

Acrobatics & Tumbling Hosts Azusa Pacific In Season's Final Home Meet Of The Season On Monday, April 2 At 6 PM
The Quinnipiac acrobatics & tumbling team hosts its final home meet of the season when it takes on Azusa Pacific on Monday, April 2 at 6 p.m. at the TD Bank Sports Center. Prior to the meet, Quinnipiac will honor senior Danielle Pilloise (Southington, Conn.) with a pre-game ceremony, as she will be participating in her last home contest of her Quinnipiac career.

Acrobatics & Tumbling Finishes Fourth In Quad Meet
The Quinnipiac acrobatics & tumbling team took fourth in its first quad meet of the season against Oregon, Maryland and Fairmont State late Saturday evening at Shorter University in Rome, Ga. Quinnipiac posted a final total of 279.54 compared to Oregon’s winning score of 287.84, Maryland’s second place total of 284.11 and Farimont State’s 280.675. Quinnipiac now stands at 0-9, while Oregon improves to 6-0. The Terps now hold a 4-1 overall record and the Fighting Falcons are now 2-4 on the season.

The Quinnipiac acrobatics & tumbling team will partake in its first quad-meet of the season when it travels to Rome, Ga. to face Fairmont State (1-2), Maryland (2-0) and Oregon (3-0) on Saturday, March 17 at 5 p.m.

Acrobatics & Tumbling Takes Third In Tri-Meet Against Baylor And Fairmont State
In a tri-meet contest against National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) opponents Baylor and Fairmont State, the Quinnipiac acrobatics & tumbling team finished just 2.68 points behind first-place Baylor on Sunday afternoon in Fairmont, W.Va. The Bobcats’ total of 278.715 was also edged by Fairmont State’s 279.505, as the Fighting Falcons (0-0) finished in second and the Bobcats (0-6) in third. Baylor, with a winning score of 281.395, earns its first and second wins of the season, improving to 2-2 on the year.

Maryland Defeats Acrobatics & Tumbling, 290.560-283.000
Despite facing one of the top teams in the nation, the Quinnipiac acrobatics & tumbling team held its own against Maryland on Friday evening, narrowly falling to the Terrapins, 290.560 – 283.000. With the loss, Quinnipiac drops to 0-4 on the season, while Maryland improves to 2-0 on the year.

The Quinnipiac acrobatics & tumbling team returns to action this upcoming weekend when it travels to face National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) opponent Maryland on Friday, March 9 at 7 p.m. The Bobcats then head further south to Fairmont, W.Va. to take on NCATA opponents Baylor and Fairmont State in a tri-meet on Sunday, March 11 at 2 p.m.

Acrobatics & Tumbling Finishes Third In Tri-Meet Against Oregon And Azusa Pacific
The Quinnipiac acrobatics & tumbling team finished in third place in its first tri-meet of the season against National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling opponents Oregon and Azusa Pacific at Oregon’s Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Ore. on Friday evening. Quinnipiac accumulated a total of 275.133, while Oregon’s winning score of 285.443 bested Azusa Pacific’s 281.218. Quinnipiac is now 0-2 on the season, while Azusa takes its first loss and Oregon improves to 1-0.

Acrobatics & Tumbling Hosts Maryland In Season's First Home Contest On Saturday, Feb. 4 At 12 PM
The Quinnipiac acrobatics & tumbling team opens its 2012 season with a home contest against National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association opponent Maryland on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 12 p.m. at the TD Bank Sports Center. Fans ages 12-and-under will be admitted free of charge, while general admission tickets will be sold at $5.

Acrobatics & Tumbling Fall Clinic
The Quinnipiac Acrobatics & Tumbling team will host its fall clinic on Saturday, Nov. 26, with sign-ups beginning at 12 p.m. The clinic will involve teaching proper warm-up and conditioning exercises, as well as educating athletes the proper progression of tumbling, acrobatics and stunting skills. This year’s clinic is open to young women between the ages of 13-18, with the pre-registration deadline set for November 18.
