Competitive Cheer Finishes Third In NCA College Nationals
The Quinnipiac University Competitive Cheer team placed third out of five other collegiate teams in the NCA College Nationals this evening. The Bobcats #$%^competed in the All Girl I division, where they recorded a 7.952 final score on the day. The NCA College Nationals competition was the final event of their #$%^2010 inaugural season.

The Quinnipiac University Competitive Cheer team placed first out of seven other collegiate teams in their division at the NCA College Nationals this #$%^afternoon. The Bobcats recorded an 8.714 final score on the day and will be one of four teams advancing from their division to the final round that starts #$%^tomorrow.

The Quinnipiac University competitive cheer team finished in first place out of three collegiate teams at the NECA Championship this afternoon. The Bobcats earned a total score of 88.50 before deductions, where they incurred a two-point inference, to conclude the day with a total score of 86.50 out of 100 points.

Competitive Cheer Records Highest Team Score At USA Wildcat Cheer And Dance Challenge
The Quinnipiac University competitive cheer team earned the highest team score in the USA Wildcat Cheer and Dance Challenge this afternoon. The Bobcats recorded a total score of 169 out of a total 200 points. The team saw its highest scores in the standing and running tumbling segments, recording two 9.5 and two 9 marks out of 10 possible points

The Quinnipiac University competitive cheer team finished in first place at the All-New England Open this afternoon, where the team outscored three other collegiate squads. The Bobcats scored a 90.60 out of 100 points in the competition, finishing 13.2 points ahead of the second place team.

The Quinnipiac University Competitive Cheer team will appear live on WTNH 8's Good Morning Connecticut with Sunday Morning anchor Crystal #$%^Haynes. The Quinnipiac University competitive cheer team lost to Maryland, 248.16-232-36, in at the 6th Annual Quinnipiac All-Star & Competitive Cheer #$%^Challenge at the TD Bank Sports Center in Hamden, Conn. The Bobcats competed against the Terrapins under the newly designed scoring format #$%^constructed by the National Competitive Stunts and Tumbling Association, founded earlier this year.

The Quinnipiac University competitive cheer team placed first out of four teams in the Division I All-Girl segment of the Chief Challenge this afternoon, earning the title of Grand Champion at the competition. The Bobcats recorded a score of 87.5 out of a possible 100 points, participating in the traditional 2 ? minute routine style of competition.

Competitive Cheer Improves To 6th Place Out Of 12 Teams In Final Day Of Cheersport Nationals
The Quinnipiac University competitive cheer team improved one ranking in the final day of the Cheersport Nationals, finishing in sixth place out of 12 teams in the All-Girl College Division. The Bobcats finished the competition with a two-day score of 804.7 out of a total of 900 points. The team improved their score by two points in today's competition, recording 403 points out of 450 on the day.

Competitive Cheer Places Third At Inaugural NCSTA Meet
The Quinnipiac University competitive cheer team placed third with a five-event score of 213.93 out of a possible 266 points at the Inaugural National Competitive Stunts and Tumbling Association meet hosted by Kennesaw State University. The Bobcats earned their best score in the basket toss event, where they earned a 36.23 total score and a 9.6 compulsory score.

Competitive Cheer Finishes 7th Out Of 12 Teams After First Day Of Cheersport Nationals
The Quinnipiac University competitive cheer team finished in seventh place out of 12 teams after day one of competition in the Cheersport Nationals. The Bobcats scored a 401.7 out of a total of 450 points on the day. Today's scores count for 40% of the final tally, with tomorrow's scores (the final day of competition) will count for the remaining 60%.

Competitive Cheer Takes Part In Two Events This Weekend
The Quinnipiac University competitive cheer team will compete in two separate events against nine different collegiate teams this weekend in Georgia. The Bobcats will first participate in the All-Girl Collegiate Competition on Friday at Kennesaw State University, followed by the Cheersport National Competition at the World Congress Center in Atlanta on Saturday and Sunday.

Universities Announce Formation Of National Competitive Stunts And Tumbling Association
Eight universities from across the United States have come together to form the National Competitive Stunts and Tumbling Association (NCSTA) which will act as the governing body and coaches association for competitive cheer's evolution into an NCAA emerging sport. The current members include the head coaches and administrators from Oregon, Maryland, Baylor, Quinnipiac, Fairmont State, Azusa Pacific and Fort Valley State, in addition to the club team head coach at Ohio State.

The Quinnipiac University competitive cheer team placed first out of three collegiate teams at the New England Unlimited Championship sponsored by Spirit Unlimited Saturday afternoon. The Bobcats earned a three-judge combined score of 262.7 out of a possible 300 points.

Competitive Cheer Takes Part In Spirit Unlimited Championship Saturday, Dec. 5
The Quinnipiac University competitive cheer squad will take part in the first official competition, Spirit Unlimited, of its 2009-10 inaugural season Saturday, Dec. 5 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. The Bobcats will be competing against the Babson and Stony Brook all-female cheer teams. The event is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.

The Quinnipiac University competitive cheer team will host the Quinnipiac Competitive Cheer Exhibition Meet on Thursday, Dec. 3, to open its inaugural 2009-10 varsity season. The meet will host the Westfield State and Sacred Heart cheer squads at Mt. Carmel campus' Burt Kahn Court. The event is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

Quinnipiac Attends Summit On Competitive Cheer At The University Of Maryland
The six universities that currently sponsor competitive cheer as a varsity sport - Maryland, Oregon, Baylor, Morgan State and Fairmont State, in addition to Quinnipiac - gathered for a meeting on the campus of the University of Maryland last week to discuss the advancement of the sport. Competitive cheer is currently seeking NCAA Emerging Sport status. Additional institutions will possibly sponsor competitive cheer.
