Quinnipiac women's ice hockey's postseason tournament has already begun, and it was the Bobcats' with a thrilling three-game series victory at Clarkson this past weekend. The Bobcats took the first game, 4-1, before the Golden Knights responded with a 2-1 victory in the second game to even the series. Two-time all ECAC Hockey goalie Victoria Vigilanti then posted her 21st career shutout in a 2-0 victory to push the Bobcats to the ECAC Hockey Semifinals.

Quinnipiac will head to Ithaca, N.Y. this weekend to face ECAC Hockey top-ranked Cornell on Friday, March 2 at 3:30 p.m.

Quinnipiac men's ice hockey clinched the fifth seed in the ECAC Hockey Tournament with a 4-1 win against Brown on Friday, Feb. 24 and a 2-2 tie against Yale on Saturday, Feb. 25. In the process, freshman Matthew Peca (Petawawa, Ontario) became the first player in Quinnipiac history to record an assist on six consecutive goals and the second to assist on every goal scored by the Bobcats in a two-game, weekend series.

The Bobcats host Brown in a best-of-three First Round series on March 2-4, with all three games scheduled for a 7 p.m. puck-drop at High Point Solutions Arena at the TD Bank Sports Center. Women's basketball plays its final regular-season game on Monday, Feb. 27 when they host Saint Francis (Pa.) at 7 p.m. at the TD Bank Sports Center. The Bobcats are currently in second place in the Northeast Conference standings. A Bobcats' win and a loss by first place Sacred Heart would catapult Quinnipiac into first place.

In any case, Quinnipiac will host a Northeast Conference Quarterfinal Game on Saturday, March 3 at 2 p.m. If the Bobcats win, they will also host a NEC Semifinal game on Tuesday, Mar. 6 at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling the TD Bank Sports Center Ticket Office at 203-582-3905 or by clicking the link above.
