2012 Gladiator by SGI /NFHCA Division I National Academic Team Award
The Quinnipiac University field hockey team was honored by the SGI/National Field Hockey Coaches Association with a 2012 Gladiator Division I National Academy Team Award for posting a combined grade-point average of 3.00.
Quinnipiac was one of 63 NCAA Division I field hockey teams honored with the award, which recognizes teams that post a combined grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher. The team posted a combined GPA of 3.35
Earlier this fall, senior goalkeeper Nicole Lewis (Amherst, N.Y.) was named the Northeast Conference Field Hockey Scholar-Athlete of the Year while 16 student-athletes were named to the NEC Honor Roll.
