Quinnipiac Field Hockey Featured In Branford Patch For "Take Your Child To The Library" Day

Members of the Quinnipiac field hockey team visited North Branford's Smith Library on Feb. 2 as part of national "Take Your Child To The Library" Day. The Bobcat student-athletes were joined by Quinnipiac's mascot, Boomer the Bobcat.  

The day consisted of story time, making valentines day cards, origami, arts and crafts, homemade bird feeders, etc. There was also a special presentation by a local Ranger with animal fur and a live groundhog for Groundhog Day. Boomer passed out lanyards, pencils and tattoos.
