The Quinnipiac University field hockey team will head "down the road" to New Haven, Conn. on Sunday, Sept. 2 to face Yale in a non-conference game at Johnson Field at 1 p.m. Quinnipiac is 2-1 on the year while Yale is 0-1 on the season. 

Scouting Yale
 Yale is currently 0-1 on the young season following a 4-0 loss to Fairfield on Friday, Aug. 31. The Bulldogs won the 2011 Ivy League Championship after scoring a program record 69 goals. Erica Borgo and Georgia Holland are among the returning active leading scorers from last year's team. Borgo is a two-time All-Ivy League selection and ranks among the all-time leaders in assists - a category she finished second in nationally last season with 17. Holland was third on the team with 22 points, including nine assists.

All-Time Against Yale
Yale holds the edge in the all-times, having won nine of the 12 meetings between the two teams dating back to 2000. Quinnipiac owns one win in eight trips to Yale's Johnson Field.  

Northeast Conference Co-Player of the Week
Jennalise Taylor (Yardley, Pa.) was named the NEC Player of the Week on Monday, Aug. 27. Taylor led the Quinnipiac field hockey team to its first 2-0 start in program history after factoring in all four goals the Bobcats put on the board for the weeek. Taylor scored her first career goal in a 1-0 win against Holy Cross in the first game of the 2012 season. Taylor then had a four-point game, scoring once and assisting on two more goals, in a 3-1 win against Towson.

First-year Bobcat Meghan McCullough (Plymouth Meeting, Pa.) scored her first career goal in the first half of Quinnipiac's 3-1 win against Towson on Sunday, Aug. 26. McCullough staked the Bobcats' to a 2-0 lead heading into the half of their non-conference tilt against the Tigers.
