The junior forward tallied three unanswered goals to erase a 1-0 deficit and put the Bobcats in line for a 4-1 road victory over Lehigh. Notarianni scored Quinnipiac's first goal of the season in the game's 27th minute. The third-year Bobcat broke a 1-1 halftime tie by scoring twice more within the first 1:45 of the second session. After scoring on a loose ball in front at the 46:21 mark, Notarianni doubled the Bobcats' lead with an unassisted tally 24 seconds later. Notarianni's three goals match her season total from 2009.
The Bobcats return to action Friday, when they face Boston College in their home opener. Action from the QU Field Hockey & Lacrosse Turf Field is set to begin at 4 p.m.
