The Quinnipiac University baseball team will travel to
Lawrenceville, N.J. today to face Rider University in a
non-conference game at Sonny Pittaro Field at 3 p.m. The Bobcats
(4-3) are off to their best start in the program's Division I
history and will try to bounce back from two straight losses. Rider
(6-7) has won two straight, against West Virginia and Hofstra. This
weekend's Northeast Conference season-opening series against
Fairleigh Dickinson, originally scheduled to be played on FDU's
campus, will instead will be played at Bergen Community College in
Paramus, N.J. The Bobcats will play a 9-inning and 7-inning
doubleheader on Friday, March 18 at 12 p.m. and a 7-inning and
9-inning doubleheader on Sunday, March 20, also at 12 p.m. Bobcat
