Junior Chris Migani  has been named as a captain by head coach Dan Gooley for the 2011 season. Migani is the first captain at Quinnipiac under Gooley since the 1983 season...Enters his junior year with 104 career hits through his first two seasons, becoming just the third player in Quinnipiac's Division I history to reach the 100-hit mark as a sophomore, joining assistant captain Ben Farina and current Quinnipiac assistant coach Tim Binkoski as the three players to do so.

As a Sophomore:
Batted .307 (51-166) with five homeruns, 31 RBI, 10 doubles and 27 runs scored...Slugged a team-high .470 while also posting a .359 on-base percentage...Completed the 2010 season with a nine-game hitting streak in a year that saw him post 16 multiple-hit games and nine multiple-RBI games...After collecting just six hits in his first 13 games of the 2010 season, he broke out with a seven-game hitting streak from April 3 to April 16...Had three-straight multiple-hit games against Brown on Apr. 6, Dartmouth on Apr. 7 and Fairfield on Apr. 10...Had two hits in the first and fourth games of the team's four-game set against LIU...Was 4-for-7 with five RBI in the team's first two games aganst Central Connecticut State...Had a hit in 16 of the last 17 games of the year, including multiple hits in seven of them.

As a Freshman:

Before Quinnipiac:
Four-year letterwinner at Amity (Conn.) High School...Helped Amity to the 2006 and 2007 Connecticut State Championships...All-State, All-Conference and All-Area selection...Also received All-Academic honors.

Son of Lisa and Dave Migani...His brother, Dave, played baseball at Stonehill College...His cousin, Anthony DiPalma is a former Quinnipiac men's ice hockey player and coach.
