As a freshman:
Appeared in 14 games posting a 4.43 ERA in relief...struck out 19 batters over 20.1 innings pitched...allowed 12 runs, 10 earned...held UConn to one hit while striking out three innings in four innings of scoreless work to pick up his first save of the year...allowed on unearned run on one hit while striking out three over two innings against Dartmouth on Apr. 12...made five straight appearances without allowing a run from Apr. 19 to May 13...picked up his second save on May 4 against Hartford when he pitched 1/3 of an inning.

Before Quinnipiac:
Was a four-year letterman in baseball and basketball at Bethel H.S....was twice named to the News Times All-Area team...an All-District player in 2004 and a 1st team All-State selection in 2005...was also named to the Hartford Courant All-State team...was named tournament MVP as his Bethel H.S. team won the SWC title.

Personal:
Son of Lois and David Oskandy...a physical therapy major.
