"The success of all of our teams this past year, combined with our increased use of all possible digital platforms has shattered our records for visitors' traffic to our numerous sites," Director of Atheltics & Recreation Jack McDonald said. "I particularly want to thank our Sports Information and Information & Technology staffs, as well as our many fans for posting excellent, and timely, content to all our sites and networks. In addition to our excellent teams, our staffs and fans also had a year we will never forget!"

In a year that saw a number of milestones reached by a majority of its varsity athletic programs, the most notable included the men's ice hockey team's trip to the NCAA Frozen Four and the National Championship Game, as well as the Cleary Cup ECAC Hockey Regular Season Championship, the No. 1 national ranking for a majority of the season and a Hobey Hat Trick Finalist in Eric Hartzell.

Women's basketball had an incredible year with its trip to the NCAA Tournament following its first 30-win season in program history and the Northeast Conference Regular Season and Tournament Championships. 

Women's cross country won its eighth consecutive NEC Championship while men's soccer also captured the NEC Regular Season championship and field advanced to the NEC Tournament for the fifth time in the last seven years.

Men's lacrosse advanced to the NEC Tournament semifinals while Acrobatics & Tumbling hosted the NCATA National Championship at the TD Bank Sports Center, advancing to the title match before falling to reigning champ Oregon while women's rugby advanced to the National Semifinals at Stamford University.

In addition to Quinnipiac Athletics' success on the court, the Bobcats also excelled in the classroom: 

- Quinnipiac's 419 student-athletes posted a total 3.189  semester GPA
- 280 of Quinnipiac's 419 student-athletes achieved a semester GPA of at-least 3.0
- Out of those 280, 148 student-athletes achieved  a 3.5 semester GPA or higher
- 15 student-athletes earned a 4.0 semester GPA    
- 2 student-athletes maintained a 4.0 Cum GPA     
-119 student-athletes were named to the University Dean’s List  
- 18/21 teams achieved a 3.0 or higher semester team GPA
- Women's Volleyball posted the highest team GPA of all women's sports (3.574 GPA)
- Men's Cross Country posted the highest team GPA of all men's sports (3.374 GPA)
