Ryan Fuller joins Quinnipiac Baseball Head Coach Dan Gooley's coaching staff for the 2013 season as an assistant coach.
Fuller comes to Quinnipiac after a two-year career at the University of Connecticut, where he was the Huskies starting third baseman. After transferring to UConn from Connecticut Avery Point, Fuller was an All-BIG EAST selection as a junior and named the team's captain as a senior in 2012, while also going on to be named an NEIBA All-Star.
While at Avery Point, Fuller led the team to the NJCAA World Series where they finished as the national runner-up. That season, he was also an All-New England and All-East District honoree. Following his playing career at UConn, Fuller was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Arizona Diamondbacks and assigned to the AZL D-Backs.
Scholastically, Fuller was a three-time All-Conference and All-Area selection during his high school career at Old Lyme. Outside of his playing career, Fuller also coached in the Connecticut Tides 13 & 16 year old AAU baseball programs while also serving as a counselor at the University of Connecticut Baseball School. A two-year member of UConn's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, he also volunteered with the COPE Mentoring Program in Mansfield, Conn. and also within the Verplank School district.
Fuller graduated from Connecticut in 2012 with a bachelors in english. He currently resides in Lyme, Conn.
