Courtney Solt Earns the First MAAC Player of the Week Honor in Quinnipiac Softball's Program History
Just two weeks after Quinnipiac softball earned its first MAAC Pitcher of the Week honor, sophomore outfielder Courtney Solt became the program’s first to win the MAAC Player of the Week award, as announced by the league office on Tuesday, March 25. Solt wins her first career Player of the Week award after leading the Northeast Conference with three Rookie of the Week honors last season. This weekly honor is the first Player of the Week award won for Quinnipiac in their new conference while it also is the first Player of the Week for the Bobcats since Mina Duffy won the honor back on April 3, 2012.
