Quinnipiac Athletics Places 69 Student-Athletes on NEC's Fall 2011 Academic Honor Roll; 15 Earn Commissioner's Honors

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac Athletics placed
sixty-nine student athletes on the Northeast Conference’s
Fall 2011 Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the conference
office on Feb. 14, 2012. Of the 69 student athletes honored, 15
earned a grade-point average of 3.75 or higher, placing them on the
Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
Athletes eligible for the NEC Academic Honor Roll must hold a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25. Of the sixty-nine named to the honor roll, those included on the Commissioner’s Honor Roll included men’s cross country’s Spencer Mannion and Richard Stoliker; women’s cross country’s Katherine Beam, Rachel Morelli, Jessica Soja and Katelyn Thompson; men’s soccer’s Zachary Friedenreich; women’s soccer’s Angela Ellison, Kyla Miles and Chelsea Smith; field hockey’s Nicole Lewis; and women’s volleyball’s Kelby Carey, Tanner Celestin, Ashley Kopacki and Taylor Payne.
