2011-12 Dance Company

The Dance Company consists of approximately 20-30 members, both males and females. Auditions are held at the beginning of each semester and individuals can audition as many times as they would like if they do not make the company initially. Our primary focus is our annual showcase, which takes place at the end of each semester. Our dances consist of jazz, tap, lyrical, modern/contemporary, as well as hip hop performances. The Dance Company is student run and in addition to our showcases, we perform at various events on campus, including Bobcat Madness and few basketball games. We participate in community service events including Relay for Life and raise money through company fundraisers for our philanthropy American Cancer Society.
