Men's Ice Hockey Jersey Needs Fans' Votes
Bobcat fans are encouraged to head to The Hockey News' "Puck Poll" to vote for the Bobcats' jersey as soon as possible. While the Bobcats jersey was considered the top jersey by the website, as of Tuesday, Sept. 1, fan voting has pushed Union College's maroon and white road jersey to the top of the list with 22% of the vote. Rensselaer (16%) and Princeton (13%) also snuck ahead of Quinnipiac (12%).

Date Set for Midnight Madness
On Friday, October 16, 2009, the Department of Athletics in conjunction with the Student Government Association and QU Student and Spirit Groups will host QU 11th Annual Midnight Madness at the TD Banknorth Sports Center.

Head Coach Tom Moore and the Midnight Madness Planning Committee had a very good meeting on April 30th. Coach Moore and members of the committee all discussed how to make this year’s Midnight Madness (Oct. 16th), the best yet.

25 Students Attend Midnight Madness Planning Meeting
On April 16, over 25 QU students attended the 1st Midnight Madness Planning Meeting. Coaches Tom Moore (MBB), Rand Pecknold (MHOK), Tom Blake (WBB) and Harry Rosenholz (WHOK) talked to the students about how much they appreciated the support and spirit of our QU Students at our games and events. The students and staff all talked about the plans for the 2009 Midnight Madness that will be part of Parents Weekend. The next meeting is scheduled for, Thursday, April 30, 2009 at 2:00pm at the TD Banknorth Sports Center.
