Chris LeSieur joined the Quinnipiac baseball program in 2010 as the team’s pitching coach. LeSieur brings over 10 years of coaching experience to the Bobcats.
LeSieur was a Major League Baseball draft pick of the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2000 following a four-year career at the University of New Haven. LeSieur played in the Diamondbacks organization for two seasons. In 2002, he was named the head coach of the Orange (Conn.) Junior League baseball team, guiding the program to 2003 State Championship after finishing as runner-ups in his first season.
In addition to his work with the Post 127 team, LeSieur also served in various capacities with Baseball U New England, and American Amateur Union (AAU) program, as the head coach and pitching instructor for ages 13-18. He also served as an assistant coach at Green Farms Academy, as an assistant coach, and was an instructor at Frozen Ropes Training Center.
LeSieur graduated from University of New Haven with a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2000. He also holds a master’s degree in school counseling from Fairfield University.
