Natalie Kosko, Women's Rugby

Bobcats' women's rugby Natalie Kosko (Sebastian, Fla.) has been named the Quinnipiac August Female Athlete of the Month, which was announced on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014.

Natalie Kosko paced the Bobcats in their season opener, as the women's rugby team secured a 34-19 victory at Life University in Marietta, Georgia on Saturday, Aug. 30. The Bobcats met their opposition at the Life University Rugby Complex for their first all-time meeting, and Kosko certainly left her mark in the match. The two-time All American led Quinnipiac with two tries and two assists by the final whistle. Kosko turned out a well-rounded game, hitting every stat category against Life. She added an assist, 11 solo tackles, one assisted tackle, three runs over 20 yards and two steals at the tackle. As a sophomore, the Bobcats' wing finished her campaign as the Northeast Conference's leading scorer with 165 points (33 Tries) for the Bobcats during the 2013-14 season.
