HAMDEN, Conn. – Midmajority.com has named this afternoon’s Quinnipiac men’s basketball game against Sacred Heart the website’s “Game! Of! The! Night!” According to the website, while there are several other good games today, “none of these matchups thrill us half as much as the hot Nutmeg State battle between two candidates for the Northeast Conference championship.”

The Bobcats (6-1) enter tonight’s game in a tie with Wagner for first place in the NEC. Sacred Heart (7-2) sits just behind the Bobcats and Seahawks in the NEC standings.

This afternoon’s opening tip is scheduled for 4 p.m. at the William H. Pitt Center in Fairfield, Conn.
