HAMDEN, Conn. - Quinnipiac University junior men's lacrosse player Christian Haggerty (West Nyack, N.Y.) has been named the ECAC Lacrosse Co-Player of the Week, the league office today announced. Haggerty scored twice and dished out four assists, both game highs, as the Bobcats upended Providence, 12-2, Saturday afternoon at Quinnipiac Field Hockey & Lacrosse Turf Field.

The junior transfer from Onondaga Community College has wasted little time making his presence felt on the Bobcats' attack. He's established team highs in goals (8), assists (7) and points (15) in his first four games as a Bobcat.

The Bobcats return to ECAC Lacrosse action when they travel to Geneva, N.Y., Saturday to take on Hobart. Opening face-off from McCooey Field is scheduled for 1 p.m.
