The Year The No. 9/10
Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team will host Princeton University on
Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. at the TD Bank Sports Center. Quinnipiac enters
the game with an overall record of 10-1-0 with the nation's best winning
percentage at .909%. The Bobcats are also undefeated in league play with a
perfect 6-0-0 record. Princeton enters Wednesday's game with a record of 3-4-1
overall and 2-3-1 in ECAC Hockey play.

game against Princeton, Quinnipiac will host the No. 10/9 University of
Massachusetts on Saturday, Nov. 28 at 3 p.m. That game can be seen live on the

Scouting Princeton
University Princeton is
currently 3-4-1 overall and 2-3-1 in ECAC Hockey play and are coming off
back-to-back losses this weekend to Cornell (5-2) and Colgate (5-4 in
overtime). The Tigers are led offensively by Dan Bartlett and Mike Kramer, who
each have totaled four goals and three assists for seven points in eight games
apiece. Senior Cam MacIntyre and Jody Pederson are close behind with five
points apiece. MacIntrye has three goals and two assists in six games while
Pederson leads Princeton with four assists. In goal, Zane Kalemba has started
five of Princeton's eight games, posting a 1-3-1 record. The senior goalie also
carries a .904 save percentage and a 3.18 goals-against average. Alan Reynolds
has started three games, including two of the last three games, posting a 2-1-0
mark with a .916 save percentage and a 2.30 goals-against average.
All-Time Against
Princeton Quinnipiac and
Princeton have played 10 times since the formation of ECAC Hockey in 2005.
Quinnipiac won four of the first six meetings between the two teams, but have
not beaten Princeton in their last four meetings. Quinnipiac last win against
Princeton came at Hobey Baker Rink on Nov. 21, 2007 with the Bobcats taking a
5-2 decision. Quinnipiac is 1-4-0 all-time on its home ice, including a 1-2-0
mark at the TD Bank Sports Center.
Welcome To The Top 10 For the first time in
its Division I history, the Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team were
ranked in the top 10 in both major polls released on Monday, Nov. 23, 2009. The
USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Division I Men's Ice Hockey Poll ranked
Quinnipiac 10th, up three spots from the Bobcats' first appearance in the poll
last week. The USCHO.com/CBS College Sports Division I poll had Quinnipiac in
the 9th spot.
INCH Power Rankings Quinnipiac was ranked
9th nationally in InsideCollegeHockey.com's INCH Power Rankings, its highest
ranking all-time in that poll.
PairWise Rankings Quinnipiac are also
ranked fourth in the most the most recent PairWise Rankings, an objective
formula used to determine the NCAA Tournament field.
First Time Quinnipiac has won
its last six games, all ECAC Hockey contests, to remain perfect in ECAC Hockey
play and secure first place in the league standings after three weeks of league
play.The Bobcats have never opened their ECAC Hockey schedule with six wins in
their first six games.
Against The Nation The Bobcats are
currently 10-1-0 overall for the top winning percentage (.909) in NCAA Division
I hockey. In addition, Quinnipiac also boasts the top scoring offense in the
country with 46 goals in 11 games for a 4.18 goals per game average. The
Bobcats' defense, which ranks 11th nationally, has allowed 25 goals in 11 games
for a 2.27 per game average, giving them the third best scoring margin, +1.91,
in the nation.
Closing The Door Last season,
Quinnipiac was 16-0-0 in games in which it led after the second period. In
their last 40 games in that scenario, dating back three seasons, Quinnipiac is
undefeated at 37-0-3 when playing with a lead heading into the final frame. The
Bobcats last loss,when leading after the second period, came in the 2006-07
ECAC Hockey Championship Game when Clarkson scored four third period goals to
come-from-behind and take the league crown.

Quinnipiac University's state-of-the-art arena on Jan. 27, 2007, the Bobcats
have played 49 games on their home ice, posting a 29-16-5 record
Same Ole Wong Senior Brandon Wong
(Victoria, B.C.) leads Quinnipiac with five goals and 11 assists for 16 points,
good for 11th in the country with 1.45 points per game.
#9 Is One of Nine Wong (#9) is one of
nine players in Division I hockey averaging one assist per contest while
ranking fifth in the nation.
Wong Dinger Wong's goal against
Colgate on Friday, Nov. 20 was the 54th of his career, moving him ahead of
Bryan Leitch for seventh place on the career-goals chart in the Bobcats'
Division I era.
I Love Lamp(e) Senior Eric Lampe
(Madison, Wisc.) also ranks in the top 20 in scoring with nine goals and six
assists for 15 points at a 1.36 per game clip. His 0.82 goals per game rank
eighth nationally.

Lang(lois) Of The
Lost Freshman Jeremy
Langlois (Tempe, Ariz.) became the first of Quinnipiac's 10 freshman skaters to
post a multiple-goal game this season with two against the Raiders. Langlois
leads all Quinnipiac freshmen with three goals and four assists for seven
points.
Dan The Man Sophomore Dan Clarke
(Belleville, Ont.) is one of two goalies in the country, along with University
of Denver's Marc Cheverie, with a 1.000 winning percentage at 6-0-0, including
five consecutive wins.
Clarke's Bars Clarke ranks sixth in save percentage at .935 while also
carrying a 2.18 goals-against average. Clarke holds two of Quinnipiac's three
wins against ranked opponents this season.
