TD Bank Sports Center Hosts Recreation Sessions

HAMDEN, Conn. - For the first time in the arena's three-year history, the TD Bank Sports Center was open to the Quinnipiac student body for open skate and intramural basketball exhibition games. Close to 20 students were on the Bobcats' home ice for an hour-long pick-up game while over 30 individuals hit the hardwood on Lender Court for their intramural exhibitions.

"We are excited by the student turnout for recreation events at the TD Bank Sports Center," assistant athletic director for intramurals Mike Medina said. "These events continue to support our mission to provide recreational opportunities to our student body, faculty and staff. We look forward to seeing an even larger turn out on November 10 and 17."

Quinnipiac plans on hosting addition open recreation times at York Hill's TD Bank Sports Center. The next landing Nov. 10 and Nov. 17.
