HAMDEN, Conn. - For the first time in the arena's
three-year history, the TD Bank Sports Center was open to the Quinnipiac
student body for open skate and intramural basketball exhibition games. Close
to 20 students were on the Bobcats' home ice for an hour-long pick-up game
while over 30 individuals hit the hardwood on Lender Court for their intramural
exhibitions.

by the student turnout for recreation events at the TD Bank Sports Center,"
assistant athletic director for intramurals Mike Medina said. "These events
continue to support our mission to provide recreational opportunities to our
student body, faculty and staff. We look forward to seeing an even larger turn
out on November 10 and 17."
Quinnipiac plans on hosting addition open recreation
times at York Hill's TD Bank Sports Center. The next landing Nov. 10 and Nov.
17. Individuals interested in attending the event should contact assistant
athletic director for intramurals Mike Medina at 203-582-5393 or by emailing
