HAMDEN, Conn. - The New Haven Chapter of the Quinnipiac University Alumni Association will be holding a food drive on Friday, Nov. 6 and Saturday, Nov. 7 during the men's ice hockey games against Clarkson and St. Lawrence, respectively, at the TD Bank Sports Center on the York Hill Campus in Hamden, Conn.

On Friday, the Alumni Association will be accepting donations of non-perishable items in the lobby of the TD Bank Sports Center from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The food drive will resume on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 3 p.m. and lasting until 6 p.m. The men's ice hockey team is schedule to play at 7 p.m. on Friday night and 4 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.

Individuals who wish to make a donation of a non-perishable food item to support Connecticut's Food Banks are encouraged to bring the following:

• Whole Grain, Low Sugar Cereals (Kix, Honey Bunches of Oats, Corn Flakes)
• Cans of fruit cocktail mix
• Granola bars or Trail Mix bars
• Canned Chicken Soup
• Canned Beans
• Instant Rice
• 100% Fruit Juice (Apple, Grape, Cranberry)
• Canned Vegetables
• Spaghetti
