HAMDEN, Conn. – Members of the Quinnipiac University men’s basketball team participated in “Boys Night Out,” hosted by New Haven’s Bishop Woods School Tuesday evening. The players and coaches spoke about the differences between behavior on and off the court and emphasized that athletic accomplishment cannot be obtained without academic achievement.
Seniors DeMario Anderson (Oxon Hill, Md.) and Karl Anderson (Chester, N.Y.), junior Louis Brookins (Silver Spring, Md.), sophomore Steve Robinson (New York, N.Y.) and freshman Evann Baker (Washington, D.C.), as well as assistant coaches Sean Doherty and Scott Burrell addressed the students. The group also signed autographs and handed out Quinnipiac souvenirs.
