More Than 60 Quinnipiac Student-Athletes Named To Northeast Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll

01/26/10 - Athletic Administration

Quinnipiac University placed 64 players on the 2010 Northeast Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll, announced by the conference office today. Quinnipiac's 64 athletes named rank sixth among the 12 NEC schools and four additional associate schools that play in the NEC football and field hockey conferences. The Quinnipiac field hockey team placed 16 players on the honor roll.  (full story)

Quinnipiac seniors Jenna Grossman (Flanders, N.J.) and Brandy Longacre (Bethlehem, Pa.) were named to the 2009 Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I All-Mideast Region Second Team. Grossman was previously announced as the Northeast Conference Goalkeeper of the Year while she and Longacre were also named to the All-NEC First Team.  (full story)

11/06/09 - Field Hockey

The Quinnipiac University field hockey lost to Lock Haven, 2-1, in the Northeast Conference Semifinals at Mercer Community College in West Windsor, N.J. Freshman Kristen Engelke (Medord, N.J.) scored Quinnipiac's only game. Lock Haven advances to the NEC Tournament Championship Game to face Monmouth on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 12 p.m.  (full story)
