The Quinnipiac University men's cross country team was tabbed to finish fourth out of 12 teams in the 2010 Northeast Conference Coaches Preseason Poll. The Bobcats saw their three-year reign as conference champions end last year when in-state rival Central Connecticut State won the championship. Sophomore Mike Levene (Redding, Conn.) will look to lead Quinnipiac in 2010. (full story)

Quinnipiac will host the 2010 Cross Country Challenge on Thursday, Aug. 19 at 6 p.m. on the Mt. Carmel Campus of Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn. Runners will be able to compete on the same course that hosted the 2010 Northeast Conference Cross Country Championship. (full story)

Quinnipiac University student-athletes from the men's and women's basketball, men's hockey, men's lacrosse, men's cross country and women's track teams recently read Dr. Seuss books to local elementary school children to celebrate the author's birthday.
