06/29/10 - Athletic Administration

The Quinnipiac University Department of Athletics and Recreation placed 72 student-athletes on the 2010 Northeast Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll. Of the 72 student-athletes honored with a grade-point average of 3.20 or higher, 27 were named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll, which highlights those student-athletes with a GPA of 3.75 or higher.  (full story)

Quinnipiac University freshman women's tennis player Rachel Cantor (Short Hills, N.J.) was named the 2010 Northeast Conference Rookie of the Year to headline three Bobcats named All-NEC, the league office today announced. WTEN:  QU Falls To LIU, 4-1

04/17/10 - Women's Tennis

Adrienne Markison (Princeton, N.J.) was a double winner, but the third-seeded Quinnipiac University women's tennis team was defeated by No. 2 Long Island, 4-1, in the Northeast Conference Tournament Semifinals at Mercer County Tennis Center. With the loss, the Bobcats conclude their season at 9-8. The loss also snapped the Bobcats' 10-year streak of advancing to the conference championship match.  (full story)
